Participants arrange their own lodging
Each morning we will start at a parking area in the vicinity of Pacific City-Neskowin, where we will pick up the shuttle bus. We recommend you seek lodging such as a vacation rental or hotel room in Pacific City, Neskowin, or Three Rocks-Cascade Head area, or the north end of Lincoln City. Don’t delay in making your reservations; September is a busy month for vacationers on the Oregon Coast. Tent and RV camping is available at Whalen Island County Park, Devil’s Lake State Park, and several private RV parks.
CoastWalk Oregon provides snacks at our midpoint rest stop and lunch at the end of Day Three. Otherwise dining is on your own. We aim to finish the day’s walk by lunchtime. For slower walkers, that may be early afternoon; accordingly some participants pack a lunch to eat along the way or on the bus shuttle back to their car. We start early in the morning, before most cafes open, so you may want to plan to prepare your own breakfast rather than eat breakfast out. You’ll find a variety of lunch and dinner options in Pacific City, Neskowin, and Lincoln City.
“The hiking was well thought out. And the views were spectacular! You all did a fantastic job thinking of everything.”
